Love this refrigerator and the size of it. So much more room than the previous one. A couple things: the icemaker makes ice very slowly so if you need a lot of ice you’ll need to stock up. Secondly the set-up for the ice/water dispenser outside of the door is wonky. If you have a large cup (Yeti, etc) when you try to get the ice the mouth of the cup bumps the water dispenser which is right in front of the ice dispenser opening, and water inadvertently goes everywhere. Problems not addressed in research for a new refri

This was bought as a replacement for a LG that had ice maker issues. Although this refrigerator does have an ice maker, it is loud as it makes ice. The water dispenser will go directly on the floor if you don’t know where to press..this is not good for company using it for the first time. stopped working at 3 months and one day!

I am livid! This $1349 refrigerator isn't cooling below 46 degrees and it is under warranty HOWEVER Whirlpool can't get a service person out for THREE WEEKS in the dead of summer. It is in a rental property so I am losing money by the day. I will never buy a whirlpool appliance again!

Very poor performance

I purchased this refrigerator on June 12th, I expected a brand-new refrigerator to work properly, but instead I’ve been dealing with problems almost immediately . I’ve had trouble 3 times now! They said I can’t get a refund even though I have a warranty because it’s fixable and apparently 3 times later is not fixable and I need a refund. Very annoying!

Poor quality

Purchased new and within 6 months the ice maker quit working. A tech came out and replaced the internal parts that were cracked. He told us we would need to disassemble the ice maker every 2-3 months in hopes of keeping it working. The manufacturer changed the internal water tube diameter to a significantly smaller diameter which is easily blocked if you have any hardness in your water, causing water to spray everywhere which eventually breaks the internal components. Not a great choice!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not sure why, but one door has a matte finish, and the other has a glossy finish. The glossy door has some dents. When the ice setting is on cubed, it still releases crushed pieces. The cup area does not accommodate a standard-size cup, so water and ice will shoot out, leaving streaks all over the front of the refrigerator. It's neither very appealing nor functional.

Engineered to fail.

Had to replace a crap Samsung during covid in 22. After a year the ice maker stopped, just now found perfectly cut wires at bottom of door. Freezer side if dumping water on floor destroying trim and creating mold problems. Drain actually freezes and dumps water into lower freezer to create sheets of ice and pool design to accommodate this planned obsolescence. Never again any product under whirlpool group. So tired of CEO forced trash builds.

The ice and water dispensing can be a struggle as the ice is directly behind the water so they can shoot out together if you're not careful
