Love this refrigerator and the size of it. So much more room than the previous one. A couple things: the icemaker makes ice very slowly so if you need a lot of ice you’ll need to stock up. Secondly the set-up for the ice/water dispenser outside of the door is wonky. If you have a large cup (Yeti, etc) when you try to get the ice the mouth of the cup bumps the water dispenser which is right in front of the ice dispenser opening, and water inadvertently goes everywhere. This was bought as a replacement for a LG that had ice maker issues. Although this refrigerator does have an ice maker, it is loud as it makes ice. What a horror story. Bought two Whirlpools refrigerators from Lowes. Delivered two days later by a sub contractor delivery service for Lowe’s. Driver of van backed into out freeze hydrant in yard didn’t know it at the time but it broke it completely at 32” deep in the ground! Delivery team was good and bad. Removed old fridge and brought in replacement skillfully and without damaging narrow passageway. However, they did not position properly in cabinets. Follow-up was also professional and helpful. I’m satisfied with product and ultimate installation.

Purchased new and within 6 months the ice maker quit working. A tech came out and replaced the internal parts that were cracked. He told us we would need to disassemble the ice maker every 2-3 months in hopes of keeping it working.
