Almost 2 years old. we bought a new home with whirlpool appliances but needed a refrigerator, so we bought this model. It was a little louder then our previous Lg. aftr a few months it started getting louder and now it's makes guest jump when they hear the the compressor kicks in or when water fills up for ice maker. we have been getting use to the noise but, enough is enough, gonna have see about calling for service.

The feature for ice chip option as well as cubes is nice, although not necessary for me. The light panel in blue is easy to use. Broken after 2.25 years!
Bought this Whirlpool in 9/2023 - fast forward to January 2026, the compressor has gone out! What a disappointment for Whirlpool. I have owned many Whirlpool products but there's no excuse for this major failure on a 2 year-old appliance - to repair it would cost almost the price of a new refrigerator.

Fridge Great-Delivery Not So Much!
2 weeks into refrigerator use and so far, so good. Its overall layout is a big improvement over our older refrigerator with its increase in size. Ice and water work well.
