About the same as the old ones

The front doors of this side by side refrigerator need to have the same textured surfaces that the outside panels have. The finger prints on the shiny front doors are noticeable up close and from a distance. I replaced another Whirlpool with this new one and because there was no model in the store to look at I ordered and waited for the delivery to see what the unit looked like.

delivery company RXO is not good

So after rescheduling me with his company called RXO because their staff was not “experienced with carrying heavy equipment” and waiting an additional number of days without any advanced notice that I requested, the fridge was then dropped off without hooking up the waterline or leveling the fridge. (I had to hire my contractor to drop everything with five minutes notice and run over there and hook up the waterline himself and also purchase the hose that was supposed to be delivered with it. )So...

Ice maker is terrible

The fridge itself is decent although you can’t adjust any shelves. The worst part is the ice maker. There is never any ice. It is incredibly slow and low capacity. I would’ve given this a 5 if it wasn’t for that. Only 2 people in the house and we don’t even use that much ice but it is always empty.

One major design flaw

Terrible experience

My initial purchase of this item was terrible. It was installed and before the installers left they tested the water and it seemed to be getting cold. I placed my food back in thinking it was operating correctly. I woke up to a food smell in my kitchen. The freezer was not freezing all of my food in the freezer had thawed and had to be thrown out. I contacted the local store and was directed to the warehouse. They sent me back to the store and I was told by an asst. manager that they didn't know...

Nice refrigerator, poor performance.

Poor Quality

Refrigerator is noisy, ice maker and water sometimes wouldn't work and after a year the fridge stopped working all together. I would not recommend buying this product.

Great features

Good fridge with a few flaws and a design issue

For a 21 cubic foot fridge the basic shelves and door bins work fine without complaint.
