I will never buy another Whirlpool product again. .It lasted a few months and stopped cooling. Ok, every product has an issue from time to time. The kicker was the process to fix. You cant go through Lowes of course. So Whirlpool sent me to some repair service and that service could not schedule on my weekday off because the only come to my area on a certain day. DO NOT BUY

Purchased as a spare fridge for the garage, which is heated and stays 70 degrees all winter. This was even specified as usable in a garage. Had it delivered 11/23/2025. Worked fine until 1/25/2026. Nearly two months. Compressor has already failed in it, lost a freezer full of meat.

Freezer on top was a big mistake. Broke 2 days

Not your father’s (good) Whirlpool

This refrigerator declares itself as a Whirlpool, but the quality does not live up to that name. While it seems to run OK for now, I wonder about the future, and if it will live as long as the 2009 Kenmore it replaced. This refrigerator feels cheap, unlike the old Kenmore. Noisy squeaky door

We have had this refrigerator for about 3 months. The door developed a bad squeak ing noise when you open and close the door. They sent a technician out and said it is a problem with the side panel of the refrigerator that door connects to. They said they can’t fix it. A nice fridge

This one is the same style and size as our old one, which is what we wanted. We added the optional ice-maker, since that was what went out on our old fridge. We like the glass shelves that let you see everything easily. The meat and cheese drawer is smaller than we are used to, but we like that it slides left and right on the shelf, and slides out easily. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second refrigerator by Whirlpool, it was a ‘gold’ model and at least 13 years old. I loved it. The control module failed. This one is low end and so far all is well. Understanding it’s a good model, the build quality is has issues; the inner wall panel is wider than the glass adjustable shelf the freezer door leaks at corners, other wise ok.

1st i purchased this after the Whirlpool refriderator that we had for 34 years with no problems finally died.
