Terrible refrigerator

We have had nothing but trouble from this refrigerator. It has leaked twice and had to have both valves replaced and then the icemaker leaked inside and a cooling element had to be replaced. Both times it started with a grinding sound and we are now hearing that sound again. It’ started before it was even a year old. DO NOT BUY!

You decide - here are our facts - We bought this Whirlpool refrigerator Dec 2024, the freezer stayed below -17 degrees (Yes that is negative 17) after 5 tech visits over 5 months, which could not fix it, Whirlpool replaced it in June 2025. Nice Design!

Luckily just my husband and I, not sure it would be big enough for a family of four. Perfect for us retirees.
