Exceeded Our Expectations / Just what we Needed
We live in a mountain community in Southern California where power outages are a frequent occurrence due to the high winds. Needed a dual fueled portable power source for those instances of prolonged loss of power to our home and community. And... one that was reasonably priced and reliable. Easy Setup
Out of the box, the unit was easy to setup. It came with the wheels off and no engine oil in it, but those items were in the box. The easy-to-read documentation walked me through the process; install wheels and legs (wrench included in box), add engine oil (in box), add gas or hookup propane, make sure it's outside, recheck engine oil, make sure nothing is plugged into it, connect the battery quick disconnect, select voltage (I could not find a voltage selector on this generator, nor a reference...

Great little generator
This generator is exactly what I needed. We live in an area where the power goes out every time the wind blows, and we were tired of replacing all our food every 2 weeks. So this is the perfect size to run our fridge and a few lamps/fans. It started up right out of the box and runs like a dream. It’s not even very loud. I can barely hear it from the front of the house when it’s running out back, and my neighbors can’t hear it inside their houses at all. Total win. The propane option is great too...

Bought as power for camper to run air conditioning when off-grid. The full cooling load can only be met on gasoline, not LP, but that is manageable. Unit starts reliably, is easy to maintain, is small and light for the power rating, and was priced fairly. The CO sensor must be respected, which limits siting and sheltering provisions. Just purchased this as a backup for when our power goes out. Recently we had planned outages due to high winds and lost quite a bit of food. I am writing this review after one year of ownership. I am a full-time RVer so this is one year of steady everyday use including wintertime almost 24/7 running. it's not a bad generator for the money and it does power my 30 amp Travel trailer when I am out boondocking.
