This is a very handy accessory that I did not even know I needed! I don’t do a lot of soldering but I do paint miniature figurines and this is absolutely the perfect helper. In fact, there are so many uses I can think of besides soldering that this could be of use for. Although meant for soldering, this is also a very useful tool for hobbyists. It is very helpful with working on more fiddly details such as painting and joining smaller parts and pieces. It has a relatively heavy base, so stability should not be an issue. Nice helper

This little helper is pretty cool. It won’t help you with every job but it does help. I can hold two pieces of my stained glass or two ends of wire for soldering due to its two alligator clips. It has a nice magnifying glass so you can see the work area really well. It’s a small item which means the base is small. A great product to have

The weight is a huge plus since it helps prevent tipping. My favorite thing about it though is that it allows you to slide and move things around to get the perfect view of the what you are soldering. This is a must have for those that do lots of soldering, especially wires.
