Do not buy a Webber

Within 6 months of purchasing this grill my regulator started to leak. Webber warranty is atrocious. After spending over a week going back and forth with their warranty people, constantly asking for additional videos and pictures, I just went out and bought the replacement part. Should not have had the issue after such a short time but definitely should not have had such a hard time getting the replacement part covered under warranty. I will not buy another Webber.

First few uses lackluster

My first 2 times I could not get temp over 240F, even w all burners on fully up. Then changed tank and still same. Used it a 4th tome last nt, and seemed to be better, but still not achieving temps I would expect. Likely will have to reach out to Weber.

Pricey but high quality

I have had a Weber kettle charcoal grill for years but wanted to add a gas grill as well to grill more during the week. I tried 2 other gas grills that I didn’t like. I paid $900 for this grill (not on sale) but it had everything I wanted. It took me a while to wrap my head around spending that much on a grill, but while assembling it, I realized it’s great quality! I enjoy cooking on it even more! Not as good as they used to be

Purchased this grill to replace and old E-310 that needed extensive parts. Should have gone ahead and gotten replacement parts if we could. First, as others have pointed out it is open under the shelves exposing wires and the gas line and making an easy entrance for animals. This is also a HUGE safety concern as a small child could easily reach in and grab things as well as touch the cook box and get burned! Come on Weber, fix this safety issue! Very poor design. 2nd Weber after 28 years with the first

Heats up very quickly compared to my old grill, the burners are arranged different so much easier to direct the heat to one side or cook indirectly. I like the enclosed bottom, hides the gas bottle and provides a little storage. The grease trap seems improved, time will tell how it performs. Still learning how it cooks, going to use it tonight, ask me next year again

Why we sent it back

We were excited by our new grill - it was replaced a ten + year old Spirt grill. The heft and overall quality of the Genesis line was impressive. However, several issues arose and we returned the grill. The first is that it was damaged -- one of the flanges on the handle was badly broken. I purchased this grill on May 28 and opted for assembly before delivery, scheduled for June 5. However, it arrived unassembled. Understanding that mistakes happen, I contacted Lowe’s, and they assured me someone would come on June 12 to assemble it. Enjoy BBQ, but...

I really enjoy the grill. It works well and was relative easy to assemble. There is only one thing that I do not like: - The small grid that is added to the top in step 31 keeps falling over / off when I try o clean it (apply pressure in front). - It almost feels as if it was an after thought. - It does not hook onto anything in the back, so when you apply a bit of pressure to the front, it falls into the grid (on top of the main grid). - This is extremely annoying. Good Grill

My previous Weber (from around 2015) had a much heavier lid and heat transfer plates, I thought, and so I think Weber is thinning the metal out. I'd rather pay more for a more solid lid and box. The grill lights up reliably and the first few sessions, the meat turned out just fine. I think it's a good grill. 2nd time Genesis grill owner like the product

2nd time Genesis grill owner, first one lasted 20+ years thought we'd do it again. New grill cooks faster than old grill. Old grill was 2 burners, new one is 3. Surface area much larger. The battery electric start is a great feature (easily lights any or all 3 of the burners).
