The under the shelf bin is 2” too short. The shelf is 2” taller than my current Performer Premium 22–in Black Kettle grill. The bin is the same size as my old one. Other than this flaw the grill is great.

great grill, horrible delivery directly from Weber
I ordered from Weber directly to save $50. The hassle in the delivery wasn't worth it. Took forever, all sorts of touches needed - call from delivery people, scheduling, confirmation, having to be present and sign. Should have gotten it at a big box.

Purchased the Performer premium grill on 6/25. Best grill I have ever had. I did have the next size down two years ago. Which was also Awesome.Then i received another brand of grill/smoker last summer. I Despised it. The Weber Grill is much Easier to clean. Just shake it down. The charcoal bag holder/trash can is a new thing. VERY handy. The grill was easy to assemble. But i will have to go through the instructions again. Missed the mark
There are some things Weber got wrong with this grill. The catch can used to be turned to drop it, now you squeeze the handle. It's tough to put back in place. The grill grate is beyond hokey. The silly circle part that is removable is a gimmick. When you clean it, it flips out. Hate it. The slot to hang the grate looks sexy, but isn't truly or easily functional by its placement and design.

Do not deal with Lowes!
The deliver people were fine, but failed to kow anything about the product. It was my understanding that the grill ( which was identical to others) would take a propane tank to light it with the same electronoc switches showen on the other same grills. Mine does not. I'm very disapointed in this. Also, the instructions failed to show what the 2 pices in the bottom of the grill were for. I went on line and could not find out anything at all. Also, the instruction manual does not show anything. I ...

Glad to have my new Weber charcoal grill.
Long time Weber charcoal griller. I love grilling on my new Weber. However, the removable circle in the top rack has very limited usefulness and makes cleaning the top rack much harder to clean. So much so I am considering purchasing a standard top rack. Just to share a flavor tip, I use small pieces of oak wood soaked in water to smoke the food. I add them when I spread the coals. That’s my version of Santa Maria style BBQ.

Really great Weber grill
Assembly was easy with no damage to any parts. Packaging was very good. A quick burn-in and then grilling various meets. Creating high heat zones for searing then moving items to a cooler zone worked great. Added some wood chunks to compliment the charcoal flavor made for a great tasting meal. The vent controls top and bottom worked great for controlling the temperature. Ash cleanup was very simple.

12 Years Old and Strong!
My wife bought this for me 12 to 15 years ago. It is still going strong. It lives outside in Colorado too! I cook fish, stakes, ribs, pork butts and of course hamburgers without any difficulty despite the size difference in the meats. It will smoke for hrs at 165° to 185° making it an obvious choice for charcoal grillers.

Compare older, similar model grill to new grill
Prefer 2 features on same style, older grill compared to new model. The ash catcher is more difficult to remove in this new model. In addition, removing the top grate is difficult. Yes it does have a removable grate in the center but I use an electric charcoal starter so it necessary to remove the entire grate to conveniently place the charcoal starter. When removing the grate I need to maneuver around some bolts that inconveniently placed. So far I have not found any benefit to the small rem...
