Good shower, instructions could be improved.

First thing, I can tell this shower is really well designed and built. Almost everything is extremely solid and durable. The reason I leave 4 stars is the instructions, which were a little bit unclear in parts. In particular, the manual clearly stated that you need a 1/4 inch hole in the tile, then insert the white anchor, then the brass coupling and the screw. But the provided anchor is 5/16, and very stiff, so there is no way to fit it in a 1/4 inch hole. Something I realised after doing ...

Nice product but issues with Vigos instructions and fixings

The shower door is great but there are issues which Vigo need to deal with. 1) the 1 inch stainless steel screws supplied which hold the plates to the wall and carry the rail, are too short. In the US with 3/8 tiles, 1/4 thin-set and 1/2 inch of Schluter Kerdi board, require longer screws which I had to buy inorder to screw into the wood blocking I built into the support walls. 2) some of the sketches in the installation instructions need embellishment to help understand things for example the...

Gorgeous door but having water leak issue

I had a whole bathroom renovation done professionally and loved these shower doors the moment I saw them. My only issue and I am looking for an answer is the water flows out from under the sliding glass portion when I am using the shower head to clean it. I am looking for an answer as far as a silicone or plastic guide to prevent it. Any help would be appreciated.

I bought this for an overall bathroom remodel. I wanted something modern, stylish and as frameless as possible. I just purchased this unit this past month and my wife and I installed it ourselves. I can’t say enough great things about the quality of the product. The instructions however are lacking some important information. More colored pictures of the finished product would be helpful. Overall great shower doors!

I Would say these are a really nice set of shower doors. Honestly, almost equal to that of what you would get going the custom glass route but for about 1/3 of the price. Glass- 3/8" thick and really nice quality. Super clear and doest rattle at all when in use like some cheaper options. only real down side is the brand name is etched into the glass and when you put the doors on one way it faces our and on the other it faces in and is backwards... so its a little tacky looking. Looks nice, make sure you have a curb and modify the installation to prevent leakage.

Door looks very nice. Seems to be well made. There are a few things that keep me from giving it 5 stars. First is that bar on the front of the sliding door is useless. The water that comes off of a person's body hits the curb and bounces under the glass and right over the little bar they provide. The only way around that is to cut the bar shorter and glue it to the curb right in front of the glass, leaving as little gap as possible. Use silicone to glue it down. That helped a lot. The ru...

Great door, looks and works great.

Looks great, install is easy, I did it by myself in less than 4 hours. Soft close works really well. Instructions are subpar, and difficult to understand, for example they reference different pieces with long, slightly different names and you spend more time figuring out what they are talking about rather than doing the actual work....which once you decifer the instructions, is easy. Only Company That Makes a 66" HIgh for a Bathtub Door

This review is for an Elan Stainless Steel 66" high door. I needed this stainless steel 66" high for a Bathtub door, and it worked great. However, the company installation manual is lacking. To use this for a tub, this is my recommendation for instructions 1. Make yourself a wooden template that is 3/8" thick (thickness of glass), and the width of the fixed panel door. Not one of the easiest things I have installed but not terribly difficult either. I am a "weekend warrior" type of installer. I have the tools, shooting for the most at the end so I win, and know how to use, ah, most of them. Most important remember glass is heavy and think glass is especially so.
