What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the self-propelled system for its intuitive speed adjustment and effortless operation, especially for older users. Reviewers consistently highlight excellent cutting performance and mulching capability across various grass conditions. Many commend the reliable first-pull starting, lightweight design, and space-saving vertical storage. Assembly is described as straightforward. However, some report clogging issues in damp conditions and bagging problems, while a few cite power concerns or defects. Despite these drawbacks, most customers consider it a substantial improvement over previous models and highly recommend it.

I bought this in April, and it’s now almost October. I’ve used this mower at least once-a-week since its purchase. Some of the complaints I read before purchasing are right on. When the grass is thick and awesome in May and June, the mulch feature does leave fairly large piles of grass behind. I just kick ‘em around so no big deal (Some people seemed really annoyed by that). Like other mulching mowers I’ve had, every now and then a few tall blades are left behind. 2 reasons why I didn’t give th...
RIP leaf piles
I'm a relatively new homeowner. A friend gifted me a very small lawn mower that use an extension cord. I have a pretty big yard, so obviously this was a huge pain. To complicate matters further, I have a bunch of oak trees in my yard that drop leaves like crazy, to the point I do not have the will to even bother trying to rake and bag them. My tiny little electric mower could not mulch those leaves up to save its life. So after doing some research, I went with this bad boy. This thing absolu...
Easy to start and use!
I've ONLY had this mower for 3 weeks and the first one to use it was my daughter who was visiting me. She loved the way it maneuvered but said that the bag filled up to quick. I just used it to to mow my yard. I really like that it won't take off in a high speed unless I want it to. It is easily maneuvered but I agree with my daughter I filled my 8 cubic feet wheel barrel 3 times! It is easy to pull start it even with my defirmed hands which is a HUGE PLUS in my eyes!

Very Expensive Piece of Junk
I had such high hopes for this machine. I've had nothing but hand me down riding lawnmowers from other people and they have been nothing but trouble. So once I shelled out more money to have the last one fixed, I sold it and did some research (apparently not enough) settled on this mower. I only have 1/4 of an acre so I figured this would be good enough for the job. This thing chokes up on everything tiny thing, doesn't collect grass in the bagger properly because it all just clumps up so forget...
Good mower, self-propel gave out fast
I bought this mower from Lowe’s earlier this year. It cuts grass exactly like it should, but the self-propel has already given out. I bought it for the power, along with the easy to walk behind aspect, but now I have to push it which is nearly impossible. Toro was the brand that my grandfather used, but it’s not the same quality.
looks stout!!
even with the 7.25 motor it just doesn't have enough cc's to bust through grass that's just a little higher than normal in fact it cut out on me many many times you have to have it adjusted real high and then it even stalled on me, I was so bummed I wanted that mower but I returned it bought Echo!!
We're sorry about the trouble and want to help. To avoid stalling, please cut only one-third of the grass blade at a time and stay above 2 inches... Read More

Don't recommend!
Bought this mower the beginning of April. I found it very hard to start. Thought it was me. I have struggled all summer w the pull start. After 45 days (several uses) I called lowes to try and return and do an upgrade purchase. Nope! Now, in September (only 5 months!), it wont start. The pull string wont wind. Apparently the spring is had. It has been a piece of crap since the start. I think it was assembled bad from the manufacturer! I do want to say, once it was running it did grea...
Dont buy it
I would not recommend this Toro push mower. I paid around $600 at Lowe’s, and after only four months of use, it won’t start. I called Toro about the advertised five-year warranty, and they told me to take it to a dealer for inspection. Every dealer I contacted quoted a $55 diagnostic fee. They explained that if it’s a covered manufacturing defect, the fee would be refunded and the repair would be free. Otherwise, I’m responsible for the $55 plus repair costs. Now I’m stuck with a nearly new mo...
We're sorry to hear about your mower's starting issues and your frustration with the dealer evaluation policies. Please note that your machin... Read More

It’s an ok unit
Not a bad mower, seems a little weak on power if the gas gets a little tall. It bogs mulching, my old one had a side exit I could use if I needed, this one does not. The sliding handle is a little weird to get used to, but it works.

Easy to use
Got this mower and have used it several times now. I have about 0.6 acre and this mower is easy to push-more so than regular mower and older self-propelled toro! It's a little stiff on cranking but hope this improves some with time. Overall, really like it!
