So far so good

I have only used this product one time, but did not experience any insects during the one hour usage. I previously used another model of a Thermacell repellent but it stopped working. It was about seven years old and worked great. This was the newest model so I figured I’d try it out!

Does not work

I was excited to get this smaller version of the same brand I had years ago and after reading reviews I picked up the device today. However, after 45 minutes & sitting right next to the device i was still getting ate up. I had to move it right underneath my chair for it to work, and I’m in a 3 wall carport. It definitely does NOT work for 20 ft. The “refill” (which is just the 1 it comes with) is a half full tiny bottle. I won’t purchase again, and definitely won’t purchase any refills. Save you...

The Best

I hate putting mosquito repellent on my skin and clothes, and with this device I don’t have to. I love that it creates a 20’ bubble zone around me and my company so we can continue enjoying the night mosquito free.

I’ve had a Thermacell for a while. The last purchase I made was for 18 hrs. (2). I turned it on about an hour before I went outside and, an hour later, have about 10 mosquito bites. This may be good for “lesser” mosquitoes, but for Texas mosquitoes, it just doesn’t work.

Not as advertised

I used it as directed. Turned it on, waited half an hour and then sat on my deck. Put the unit in a variety of places, including right between my ankles. Still was inundated with mosquitoes. Waited an hour, during which I was slapping mosquitoes right and left, and finally got up and went back inside. Will be returning the product tomorrow.

Thermacell mosquito repellent

The rechargeable mosquito repellent is amazing. I’ve never seen a mosquito nor had a bite while using it on my porch. It’s easy to use and seems to have no odor or chemical smell.

Seems to work as advertised

Charged up quickly. Seems to work as advertised. Definitely set them up a few minutes before you plan to be in the area. The beeps for on and off are helpful to know you did it right since the unit is totally quiet. Battery life beeps too. Only complaint is it burns thru the oil stuff pretty quick and refills aren’t real cheap. But made it so we could use our backyard for a party which was great

Useless

Since my last review was deleted, don’t waste your money. The device does not work! I used this brand years ago and it was great! This new device is a waste of money! First use and ran 45 mins, sitting right next to it and I got ate up!

Best Mosquito Repeller

Can’t sit outside unless I have my Thermacell by my side. So many years of getting bit or just not sitting outside. Couldn’t believe it would really work. Amazing.
