Perfect makeover for my ceiling fan
Initially I bought these globes as replacements for my ceiling fan in the guest bedroom because 2 of the original glass globes broke. One of the old globes sliced my guest's hand as she was reaching over head to change her shirt and hit it. These Crystal wired globes won't break on contact like the tiffany or other glass globes will. The fact that they are gorgeous was just a bonus! Very classy looking ! great addition and glad price reduced
I have had my eye on these globes for years and always wanted to add them to a fan. I am finally getting ready to update a room and now was able to purchase. The timing was great because the price dropped too! Unfortunately, the existing ceiling fan required a globe that needed thumb screws. SO, I decided to make a quick fix. I purchsed the base socket ring and zip tied them to the globes, than I used the thumb screws to hold in the base. Worked like a charm.

Beautiful Blingy light shade!
We recently bought these to redecorate a ceiling Fan light. The glass lamp shades that came with the fan were nice but just was a little short of the classy Bling style we were looking for in our kitchen. Of Course these did not fit the Ceiling fan because there was nothing for the screws to hold onto a lip, so a little ingenuity had to be done. Bling Bling!
I purchased 3 of these globes to replace the shades on my bathroom vanity light. After I purchased them I realized they would not work because there was nothing to screw into. I went back and picked up 3 Medium Base Socket Rings #0338730 and zip ties and made it work. You can't tell at all and they look gorgeous! Globes were a little pricey but worth the end result.
