Awesome attachment to build your own hanging light
I purchased this and a separate globe to make my own hanging light fixture, and it worked out fine. In my particular installation I did not use the mounting bracket and cover that it came with, but I bought a matching cord and connected and sealed the wires myself, being an electrician. This unit matched perfectly with the globe and it worked well. I highly recommend.

Easy Pendant Install
These are the easiest pendants I’ve ever installed. Use these as a replacement for a contractor grade pendant over our bar area. With the addition of an inexpensive 10 inch medallion, these covered our vaulted ceiling’s can light openings with ease. The look is great and instructions are a snap to follow. Be sure to leave extra cord for later adjustments as needed.

The picture on the box and online gives the appearance of the part that screws on to connect the globe/shade being a decorative metal to match the rest of the light, however it was just a white plastic piece. Additionally, it would really benefit from the black cord being covered by the same metal that makes up the rest of the fixture.
Adjust socket wire as needed.
