Terrible

Lowe’s said they posted my review but it does not appear anywhere. I wonder why. This is a terrible product with bits of plastic foil and rocks (three big rocks) and old plant roots. There is no way this is being screened or filtered. Do better Lowe’s.

Garden Game Changer

I’ve tried a lot of potting mixes over the years, but Sta-Green Potting Mix is hands down the best I’ve ever used. Rocks plastic and foil

This product is TERRIBLE! I can’t believe Lowe’s sells it. It had rocks, pieces of plastic and pieces of foil in it. Honestly if I hadn’t already started my project I would have returned it. And I don’t return things very often. I am pretty chill about things. But this is unacceptable.

DeFlock Lowes

I had no issue with the product purchased but am deeply disturbed by Lowes partnership with Flock and the presence of the License Plate readers in their parking lot. The ethical and constitutional ramifications of such devices largely outways any future consideration of patronage at Lowes in the future for me and fellow like minded folk.

Horrible

Bought this brand instead of what I usually buy, Miracle Gro. I planted herbs in planter boxes like I have for the past 20 years. This mix has mulch mixed in which is fine. None of the herb plants have actually grown all that much. It’s like they’re stunted. I have 12 different herbs, none have grown well. They have been planted for 4 months so there should be more growth. I dumped out all the boxes and replanted the herbs in miracle gro mix

Full of bugs

I purchased 8 bags of this potting mix and so far I have lost zucchini, cucumber, impatients, even marigolds (if you can believe it - I didn’t think anything liked to eat marigolds). Went outside this morning and where I used the majority of the soil it was crawling with ants and pill bugs which we have never had a problem with. In a brand new planter with only this soil the inpatients I planted have leaves completely gone. Do not recommend. Always used Miracle Grow products before. I think...

delivery driver was not at correct location.

1.details were to meet me at the front door... did NOT happen 2. dropped in open garage... I do not live there. 3. I needed the items to be carried to back deck.... that did not happen. 4. I went to the person in the garage, they weren't even aware there had been a delivery and they were in the garage, behind a curtain working on a computer.

killed or stunted my seedlings

I have successfully started my own plants from seeds for decades, always repotting into standard potting soil. This is the first year that I used this product. It killed many of my seedlings and severely stunted the rest. I had to irrigate and repot all of the surviving seedlings. I had regrettably used the same brand of garden soil to prepare many of the areas of my garden. Terrible...

This "soil" is absolute garbage. It is mulch like material. I did an experiment with my cherry tomatoes, one plant in sta green and one plant in miracle grow. they received the same fertilizer, water and sun, the results: MG plant green and healthy, sta green plant was stunted and a yellow/green!

Disappointed the past 2 years

I have bought this for years, my son has also. Last year , the quality of the soil changed, it had so many wood particles , big and small, I was taking them out. We felt it was closer to mulch. This year it was a little bit better, but not as it used to be. It used to be a finer soil and I used it to start my plants…I had to go to a different product. When I first bought it, I thought it was just as good as Miracle Gro. I’m sorry, I’m very disappointed.
