What Customers Are Saying
The product has mixed reviews. Some customers reported excellent results, with the grass seed filling in bare spots and growing lush grass. However, the majority of reviews were negative, with many customers complaining that the seed did not germinate or grow at all, even after following the instructions carefully. The seed coverage was also reported as poor, with the product washing away after heavy rain. A few positive reviews noted that the seed was easy to apply and grew quickly, but customers advised being patient as centipede grass can take time to fully establish.

I used EZ Seed Patch and Repair annually to fill in the areas of my centipede lawn damaged by winter rains and fungus. "Easy" is s misnomer however. The smart thing is to rake out the area to be treated and mix new top soil with the patch. Then keep the seeded area wet 3xday until your new grass is visible, usually about 2-3 weeks on average.

Did not see a single blade of new grass
I used the whole bag, followed the instructions and kept the area watered daily. I did not see a single seedling grow after 4 week.

Absolute garbage
I live in the south where Centipede grass is the norm. I've used this product once before with very poor results but I decided to give it another try. I raked the soil and added fresh soil and a small amount of starter fertilizer to the overseeded area. I did this process in Mid May when temps are 85 degrees or higher. I watered 2-3 times a day to keep it moist for 3 weeks. Nothing. I've since gone back to my regular watering. Here it is about 6 weeks later and not a single blade of grass grew.....

EZ seed it is definitely not.
Dismal. Had tried this once in the past to no success but, now two years later, opted to give it one more try on a couple of 6 X 2 foot patches. This time followed instructions to the letter. June and July were steaming hot (Cape Fear area) so the ground must have been suitably warm. I raked off old dead grass hatch and thoroughly stirred up the underlying sandy soil, applied the seed liberally but not excessively so the ground was still plenty visible. Circled the area with a 2.5 foot temporary...
