Terrible support

Was sent the wrong product, returned it, spoke with support to ask the expedite the correct one, it was sent regular delivery and was still the wrong handle. Reached out to support but they never replied. Returned it again and will now avoid shopping at Lowe’s.

Not worth the money

I bought this product in February 2023. It only worked properly for a few months before the outside turning mechanism stopped working. Meaning I could not lock or unlock the door from the outside. I bought the Lowes warranty, and they did nothing to help get it replaced. Instead, the said I had to call Schlage. So that warranty was a wasted $49.97. Schlage did send me a replacement. Now it has only been about 7 months and that replacement has stopped working as well. The exact same problem....

Unable to open door after 2 years

Right around the 2-year mark, slightly before, our lock started acting up. It would spin and spin after entering the code and then eventually lock or unlock. Now it shows the green light of the correct code, and spins until it times out. We can no longer unlock our front door AT ALL and have to go through the garage. Would NOT recommend it.

Huge Disappointment

I was so excited to find a matte black electronic lock (most everything out there is “oil-rubbed bronze”) that I must admit I didn’t do much research at all on this one before purchasing 2. I was replacing an older electronic lock (also Schlage) that had bitten the dust after someone in my house kept disconnecting it (because he’s too good to have to punch in a code every time he wants to come in) over & over for several years. Broke within a month

I ordered this piece in early November 2020. The delivery arrived quickly and the product was well packaged. We were satisfied with the product after installation. Within one month, however, the door handle had stopped functioning. After taking the handle off of the door, we noticed that an internal part (a small lever) that turns the handle had broken off. sleek handle !

I have never installed a door handle before so this was a challenge! Luckily it lined up perfectly with my old handle holes. It took me about 2 hours total. The instructions are very easy to follow. I did end up having the same issue that so many others had where the interior handle goes up instead of down to open the door. I tried to install the handle several different ways and nothing fixed this issue so the inside handle is NOT universal. I am going to call customer service tomorrow to see ...

Lasted 18mths

I purchased this and it broke 2 months ago. The product only lasted 18 months total and for the price it should have lasted longer.

Very Impressed with this Lock Set.

Installation of this lockset was not difficult even on a newly installed door. Works wonderfully and easy to lock/unlock. The matte black finish looks perfect and no defects on the interior or exterior hardware. I enjoy that I no longer have to carry a key to enter the front door. The exterior option to connect a battery to the lock in the event that the battery wears down is an excellent feature to have. Good-Looking Convenience

I bought this for my front door which we rarely use. I like that I can give the code to a family member or my house cleaner without having to have a key made for them. It comes in handy for unexpected visits from family as well. The keypad seems to work fine and looks really nice. I only wish it had the option for a key. I know they make one that does, and I bought this one knowing that. It is a solid matte black color, not oil rubbed bronze which is nice.

Item does not match photo and does not work

The item box and listing on lowes show the interior handle with a rectangular backplate. The 2 boxes I received show the same image, but both boxes contain an interior handle with a circular backplate. My husband had already installed it on the first door before I noticed the discrepancy. As if that wasn't bad enough, it will also not open using the exterior handle. These are going back. Very unhappy.
