We had to get replacement due to latch malfunction, we did have the set for approx 7 years before the latch malfunctioned. It happened after a very cold couple of nights with below freezing temps

Great looks, solid fit and finish...foolproof!

I wanted to replace it with a quality set that could easily replace my old one, with a finish (aged bronze) that was more attractive and fit my existing door setup. Strike Plate

I liked the easy to install aspect, however I did not enjoy the strike plate installation as it required me to carve out additional space on the physical frame as the strike plate did not align with the existing traditional door plate but once carved it fit perfectly just a little extra work.

Easy to install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Schlage is easy to install. My old door handle was an off-brand name and no longer around, so I wasn't able to find parts to repair. Schlage has been around for-ever and parts are easy to come by if ever needed but I expect this to last for years to come. Should have gone with Schlage in the first place.

Broke after 4 years

Worked fine initially, but in the last couple of months, the front door handle would be extremely hard to press down to open the door. Eventually it stopped working and I had to replace.
