It really removes a lot of water from the items making drying much faster. It also can be linked to an app so you know how much time remains and when the cycle is complete. After having and suffering a washer from hell I did my homework and was lucky to actually buy what I wanted on sale. Lowes was great, installers were great(actually balanced machine with level unlike another store) Delivered guickly no mess no Hassel. Thank you to the washer Gods.

I Had a front loader from another brand and was happy in for about a year. Unfortunately, I did not like the rubber gasket growing mold on the inside parts where cleaning was close to impossible, plus, I had a leak on the bottom part of the machine and never did find the cause of the leak. Not happy w Samsung washer & dryer
Purchased this and a dryer of Samsung one year ago. Have had nothing but problems with both . The washer sometimes doesn’t drain and the dryer doesn’t always dry and the loads turns off . It’s been nothing but a hassle ;( would never buy Samsung washer and dryer again . Would have kept the old ancient machines we had in our home when we bought our home. Old topload washers are way better
First off, washers don't use a lot of energy they use a lot of water. And water is what you need to washer your clothes, not air. A front load you can probably get away with less water due to the fact it tumbles around and around. A top load needs a full load of water that at least covers the clothes. My older Samsung I had for so many years left me.I love Samsung products and this washer is that one I had except very big drum and more features. Even has an app to control your wash at later start time tells you a lot of other things I like and even when the wsj is done.
