Do not buy, worst appliance ever

Purchased originally in 2023, it has been three years of use and completely disappointed with the quality. Just like the electric range this dishwasher start to make a squealing noise leaving me to believe that it’s the motor. Additionally, a year and a half after purchase, the water stopped fully draining. After getting my personal home water checked our connections were fine and it had to do with the dishwasher itself.

Poor performance and low quality dishwasher

Dishwasher lasted almost 5 years. It never cleaned the dishes well and was consistently saturated. At the 4.5 year mark the normal light started flashing and it kept running and chiming constantly. Even if I tried to shut it off it would not stop until I unplugged it. I inspected and cleaned the filters. Normal light is still flashing. Not worth fixing, I will never buy a Samsung dishwasher and will be looking into other brands.

Quiet and adjustable and great!

Worst appliance I have ever owned

I never never owned any appliance that breaks as much as this thing. It gets water leaks in multiple places. I have replaced the inlet valve 3 times, the drain assembly, and the part that ties the string the spring so the door lowers properly. I replaced that part twice. It's such a terrible design, half string, half spring, tied to the foot. And now the foot broke off. I'm pretty handy but taking this thing apart to dry stuff off every 3 weeks...I'm just done with Samsung for the rest of my lif...

died in 2 years with light use

I also bought the extended warranty. Lowes warranty's suck. I will never buy from lowes again . 5 year warranty if you do not lose receipt. they can see when you bought it . look back to or protection plans and it is listed as kitchen item. So with out the receipt they are covering nothing

Doesn't seem to last

I am trying to find out how long we have owned this. I do not think it has even been 5 years. Yestreday I noticed the normal button was flashing fast and it sounds like it is draining/spinning water. It will not shut off unless I turn off the circuit breaker. Not happy

Slow, Low Quality, High Maintenance

My machine is 2.5 years old. We are in a 2 person household running ≈2 cycles / week. No garbage disposal. This dishwasher takes a very long time to clean dishes. A typical cycle takes around twice as long as my previous machine. I have had issues with this dishwasher's clean quality. Plates must be spaced every other tine. Bought this when we ordered a fridge. It is not quiet. It sounds terrible and I'm just waiting for it to stop working. We should have kept our over 8 year old one but we wanted to update our kitchen. Crazy but this is my third one

Absolute trash! Unfortunately, my husband insisted on buying this for the third time just because all the appliances in our kitchen are Samsung. We have wasted a lot of money on repairs downtime and the inconvenience. Would definitely not recommend this for anyone.

More harm than good

I purchased this unit in December 2020. Within five months, it started leaking and was repaired under the 1-year warranty. Just over a year later, it leaked again—this time severely—causing significant damage to my under-counter cabinet, flooring, and baseboards, some of which remains unrepaired.
