All Samsung French Door Refrigerators have terrible design flaws that are still not fixed. I have had one that I paid $5K for that started having coil defrost issues and ice maker issues at about the 3 year mark, which is when the warranty is over. Just got off the line with a support tech and then his supervisor who refused to do anything to help, except send out their service technician that I would have to pay out of pocket. No thanks! Great value and a good experience
The unit is a a few inches deeper than our old unit but otherwise it fits in the same space as our old unit. Considering the unit has seven cubic feet more space, that is a neat trick. So far we are very pleased and the installers were exceptional.

I bought this fridge Nov 2024. 6 months in it stopped cooling lost all food but repairs were covered under warranty, replaced fan, and messed with condenser.
