Ice maker stopped working

Bought this Samsung refrigerator on 7/31/24 and today 1/30/26 ice maker stopped working. Called Samsung tech support and ran through all the troubleshooting steps, didn't fix it so they wanted to have a tech come out to look at it, for a fee charge since past 1 year warranty.

Save Yourself a Headache

The Samsung French Door Refrigerators have known design issues that pop up at about 3 1/2 years, just after warranty expiration. Had a licensed service tech tell me there were service bulletins for the issues and he showed them to me. Samsung support denied the service bulletins existed and left me hanging out to dry on a $5000 refrigerator. Bad quality. Stay away.

THE DELIVERY DRIVERS BROUGHT THIS BIG BOY UPSTAIRS ON THEIR BACKS AND MOVED SMOOTHLY LIKE BUTTER‼️THEY WERE IN AND OUT IN MINUTES. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE THEM. THIS FRIDGE FITS PERFECTLY IN MY NEW HOME. ITS SPACIOUS AND MEETS THE NEEDS OF MY REQUIREMENTS. YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

Okay Samsung. This is my second Favorite Frigerator with you. Same Model. Please explain why the door shelving is smaller than my older one and I was disappointed to see no pizza tray in the front freezer door. I kept my old one and placed it in there but of course it don’t latch in place however it fits. I absolutely loved the idea of pizza tray in front of freezer door. I place butter and cheeses and other smaller items there. Hope you can make these changes back for my next purchase with you....

French Door Refrigerator Ice Maker

I purchased this refrigerator with great anticipation in 2021. I even purchased the extended warranty. Since the purchase the ice maker has been replaced twice and is constantly needing repair. The extended warranty ran out so I had to pay to have it replaced the 2nd time. And it is going out again (by now i can tell when it’s going out). It is just over 4 years old and already needing its 3rd ice maker. I called Samsung and they will not cover the cost to repair it or the part. After paying for...

The Lowe’s team was incredible. Thought that likely the refrigerator was going to be too big to fit our 50 year old house. They took care by removing the front door & care to bring inside & set up. Fit like a 🧤. Made the right decision. Thank you guys!

So far so good.

My wife has been wanting a fridge like this for some time now. This one had all the options that she wanted with plenty of room. The best thing for me so far was the ease to remove the doors, described in the manual, to make it fit through the house door. Seems to be working fine so far with nice features.
