Bought this less than two years ago and is now giving code 3C which requires service. Another junk Samsung appliance. I've had others and had issues with them way before they should as well but this was the type of washer and dryer that we needed as our moving company had destroyed our previous set and during Covid, there were only so many units that were in stock any where without months of waiting so we chose this one along with its matching washer. LOVE my new Washer & Dyer....BUT
the new samsung washer & dryer set is amazing! they clean my clothes with a noticeable difference from my old set. and they are beautiful to look at too!! the only thing i don't like is there is no light in the dryer. whoever thought of that was a very bad idea. the set is black and lighting in the area is poor so it's hard to see what's in there. honestly if i knew this prior to purchase i would have gotten a different dryer. this is an important feature for me. so i am disappointed.

Does it's job. Scratches easily.
This dryer works very well. Heats up fast. All the settings work like they should. Looks fancy. My only gripe is that the top scratches extremely easily. If you put a container of laundry detergent on it, it will scratch the surface like you used sandpaper or a metal object. For the price I expected a more durable finish. If that doesn't bother you though, it's an excellent dryer.
Great value
The dryer itself is great. The value is great. It has a wide variety of drying options for any type of load. The inside is very large, and Ken said many towels at one time. I like the extended time option but haven’t had to use it yet Our only complaint is that it doesn’t have an inside light. This is something I didn’t realize I needed to look for in the specs. I just assumed all driers had lights!!. For us with the dryer in the garage it can be quite dark and this is very disappointing..

This product is fine except for one thing. For what this dryer cost, and the fact it was supposed to be a quality dryer, it does not have an interior light in it. We were very disappointed! We would not recommend this product to a friend.

Motor went after 4 months
Waiting over three weeks for a replacement through warranty. The service person came to my house three times and still can't fix the dryer. Now we are water another seven business days for an update on when we can expect a new dryer.

Do Not Buy This Dryer!
The sensor failed after 5 months. Samsung could not get the part to repair, never even sent a repaiman. Thankfully their customer service was good and easily refunded the full price. Needless to say I didn’t buy another Samsung

I do not recommend this Samsung dryer.
Dryer won’t fully dry a load and shuts off if you restart it to try and get your stuff dry. I have to hang damp clothing, towels, and blankets up to finish drying. I will read reviews before buying in the future.
