Fussiest clothes dryer do not buy

We have the extra capacity dryer as we have larger blankets and comforters that we wash regularly. Ha! Those items, which usually don’t spin dry very well (see my review of the companion Samsung washing machine) turn themselves into cocoons of wet fabric after five minutes even with the use of tennis balls to help keep things moving in the dryer. We have owned this dryer for one year and it has done countless loads of laundry, including bath mats and giant blankets. We ordered the dark black metallic color in 12/2021. Pros: It can hold the mother load of clothing and giant puffy blankets (the ones filled with faux down). Cons: Bedding is a fight to get dry because it folds into a ball and the center stays wet. Extremely poor quality and service

I purchased this dryer as set on 8/9/21 to replace my old set. Here it the middle of July and the dryer had an electrical FIRE in garage. My entire garage was engulfed in smoke and fumes. The dryer was unplugged from the outlet and my toddler and myself had to run outside to avoid inhaling any fumes. Horrible the third Samsung item that has broken in less than 3 years. I had two different types of washers. The first was still under warranty so they replaced with a larger washer but it went out saying I needed a door lock mechanism and relay control that was a high as a new washer right at year 2. The door only opens 1/2 way and there's no light!

The access dorr only opens 1/2 way which is a giant pain. When we looked at it we didn;t know that it has no interior light for when the door is open so you can't see anything inside very well. Also, even though the delivery guy seemed very knowledgeable, he still installed a 10 exhaust hose when it only needs about 2 feet. WORST PRODUCT>>>EVER!!!!

We spent almost $900.00 dollars on this dryer, TODAY! We put a small load of laundry in on normal cycle. When the cycle finished the cothes were still damp. Put clothes back in on HEAVY DUTY cycle for 60 minutes more and the machine shut off by itself after ten minutes. Started it over again on heavy duty cycle and it shut off again after just a few minutes. Do not buy go with another Brand

I would highly recommend buying another brand dryer. We had this for about 6 months and it throws a 3C code and continues to run after the power is turned off. Pop the top off with two screw and access the white control box. There is a motor relay that has a black and brown wire that runs to it. Tap on that to get the relay to un stick. This only a short term repair. Sad part is the whole control box has to be repaired or is you are handy you can solder a new relay in the place of the old one. F...

1.5 weeks of using and Already NOT Heating

I purchased the dryer to replace a nine year Samsung dryer that the control board was broken and parts no longer made. I shed used the dryer for 5-6 loads and now it will not heat. I called a Samsung Customer Care today (11/27/2022) to diagnose the dryer with the error code HC. FIRST NEW DRYER!

This was my very first bramd new dryer purchase. Previousley I had been using a dryer that I had had for fifteen years and that was 2 years old when I got it.
