The large size is great. I live in the country where you have to dump your own trash at the county dump. The larger size gives me more time between dumps. I also like the fact that when I bought the trash barrels they came with lids.

I use these for anaerobic composting. I use a hole saw to cut three holes in the bottom and seal these from the inside with metal screen. Support on concrete pavers.
