I bought 2x of these last week to support a weekend retirement BBQ/Party. These trash cans have the strength, durability, and material quality to support a 1/2 barrel keg with 100 lbs of ice being lifted in/out of a F150 truck bed with out showing any shape distortions. They also demonstrated a surprising amount of temperature retention to keep the ice from melting quickly dispute the heat of the day.

Better than expected
I was looking for a larger trash can that would fit the Brute dolly and couldn’t find one that didn’t have to be shipped. So I opted for the next size down, this 44 gal. . . PERFECT! It is well made and well worth the price.
Necessary and Dependable Trash Bin
This is the second purchase we have made of this item. The first Brute serviced our trash for over 14 years. We haul our own refuse and put cans through the wringer of transport and dumping. A severe storm pitched it into a tree and sent a cratering crack along the side. It wasn’t the first incident of weather brutality but it was the final knockout. I am pleased with their durability and reasonable price-point. I considered a wheel variety from Brute but appreciate the simple, no-fuss construct...
Big Tough Guy
I was looking for safe plastic water collection barrel....and THIS one is amazing. It's thick but also flexible enough not to crack/break when smooshed a bit. I will be purchasing another asap! I expect this big guy to last a long time.

The large size is great. I live in the country where you have to dump your own trash at the county dump. The larger size gives me more time between dumps. I also like the fact that when I bought the trash barrels they came with lids.
Compost Bin
I use these for anaerobic composting. I use a hole saw to cut three holes in the bottom and seal these from the inside with metal screen. Support on concrete pavers. These holes serve as a water drain. Fill it up with anything and everything organic. Three years later you have a couple hundred pounds of compost. I have seven in rotation, because it takes me about 6 months to fill each to capacity for the fill-phase. Then every 6 months on the deploy-phase, another 200 pounds of compos...
