Necessary and Dependable Trash Bin
This is the second purchase we have made of this item. The first Brute serviced our trash for over 14 years. We haul our own refuse and put cans through the wringer of transport and dumping. A severe storm pitched it into a tree and sent a cratering crack along the side. It wasn’t the first incident of weather brutality but it was the final knockout. I am pleased with their durability and reasonable price-point. I considered a wheel variety from Brute but appreciate the simple, no-fuss construct...

The large size is great. I live in the country where you have to dump your own trash at the county dump. The larger size gives me more time between dumps. I also like the fact that when I bought the trash barrels they came with lids.

bought 4 cans and only could find three lids, Customer service was not helpful couldn't find any more lids even though there were plenty of garbage cans available.

I use these for anaerobic composting. I use a hole saw to cut three holes in the bottom and seal these from the inside with metal screen. Support on concrete pavers. These holes serve as a water drain. Fill it up with anything and everything organic. Three years later you have a couple hundred pounds of compost.
