Durable

This trash can has been so convenient and durable. We use it multiple times a day and have never had issues with the mechanics of the no touch aspect using only our foot. It’s lightweight enough that I can easily takeout the trash. Assembly was super simple and instructions were clear.

I love the Rubbermaid Elite Step-On Trash Can. This is the one that I am currently using. The design is perfect for the kitchen and easy to use. There is no noise when you step on it, and the size is perfect. It is not too big and not too small. And it is also easy to maintain, compared to others. There is no smell in your kitchen, and it keeps animals out of your trash!

Great trash can for kitchen or garage or laundry.

I love the stainless steel look. It makes things look more clean for a messy item and it is good at keeping fingerprints off even though I’m not touching it often due to the got step which opens the trash can. I can have my hands full and not have to worry about needing to open a drawer my trash is in or wave my hand over it to open an electronic cover. It’s very spacious and holds those big 13 gallon bags for a12 gallon trash bucket. I like that the lid closes and keeps odors out as well.

Better than most cans available

The can uses a 13 gallon bag which sits cleanly around the rim of the inner bin and holds (we use the drawstring bags). Can has sufficient weight that it does not move around on us when stepping on the pedal. Only 2 knocks I have with this can is the fact that you need to remove the inner bin to change bags (our previous can had a ring that lifted with the lid for easy changeout), and the little red lock to keep the lid from falling down does not work. No stinky smells

Trash can is the right height and holds the appropriate capacity of garbage. Having the step at the bottom allows the lid to be opened hands free. This is perfect as you don’t have to touch anything. The lid is effective at keeping odors trapped inside.
