Good things to know about these Dummy Door Knobs: 1) You have to remove the knob from the chassis by putting pressure on a little tab on the side of chassis with a screw driver. It won't pull apart as the instructions seem to suggest. 2) Once the chassis is screwed into the door, you need to leave the base slightly out from the wood to put the cover on. Great option for linen closet doors.

This knob looks great and is a nice option for a linen closet or other area that needs no interior knob. Install was relatively easy. No need fro a hole saw as no lock mechanism is needed. I used a friction wheel at the top of the door to hold it closed. Looks great and made for an almost flawless install. Missing a knob

Waited a week for this and when I finally got it I opened the box and one of the knobs is missing. Now I have to spend more time returning it.

I never got it.

They said they delivered it. They did deliver it successfully. Just not to me. It was delivered back to Lowe's. The delivery email said Austin. They knew it was being returned for several days before this. I needed this ASAP, and now they are out of stock. So now I get to wait 10 business days for my refund, which will be about 20 days after it was originally supposed to be delivered. Hooray.

We've never really liked the boring little wooden knobs on the doors of the storage cabinets along the wall of our loft, but never spent much time looking for replacements. Attractive and smooth-working

This is the third type of this style of door knob I've installed: the privacy knob on 3 bedrooms, the dummy knob on several storage closets, and now the passage knob on a clothes closet. As with the others, we love not only for the color but for the quality of these knobs. They have a solid feel to them, and work very smoothly.
