Seems solid right out of the box and the instructions look straightforward. I haven't installed it yet, but I am thrilled to get it up and see the modern, industrial look it brings. If installation gets tricky, I might drop a star.

High quality barn door hardware.

These things are solid. I ordered 4 and they came in one box. Don't skip leg day as 4 are heavy! I found the hardware to be high quality and sturdy. I like that it came with a guide and other pieces to make it turnkey once you add a door.

Great value for the price. Comes with everything you need minus the door and handles. Overall, easy to install. I didnt want to cut a channel in the bottom of my door for the door guide that came with the kit, so I got a different one that uses rolers instead.

The barn door I have is solid wood and is very heavy, this kit has no problem holding it in place.

Great Quality

I purchased this to install a barn door over the entryway to my living room. I saw other kits that were much more expensive, but decided to go with this version because it was a much better value. It comes with all of the hardware you need, minus the door, to install a barn door. One suggestion I would make for the DIY installer is to use either a drill press or a jig when drilling the holes in the door to ensure that they go in a perfectly straight line. disappointed is this product, instructions say to mount to wall studs. Most house wall studs are on 16" centers. The rail that the door rides on is predrilled on 17 3/4" centers. We had to drill new mounting holes for the rail. If the door is hung over existing doorway molding the door is too high off the floor to utilize the door guide at the bottom.

Well mostly because Lowe's employees these days like to just stand around in groups and roll their eyes if a customer needs help, and they know absolutely NOTHING about anything. So that was part of the problem of how I wound up with this piece of crap trying to do something by myself.
