This prehung door did the job but as with a lot of things now a days, no quality control. We got the door installed and working correctly but we had to work a lot a of things out because of quality of material and less than desirable workmanship on the labor that put the door together.

We needed a bedroom door and this firt perfectly. I loved how the trim was included, I was nervous about installing it being my first time doing anything like that was super pleased how simple the process was.

Good product!
Easy install. The adjustable jamb width made installation in a 1970s remodel a breeze. Already came primed just had to throw a coat of paint on it.

They are cheap doors, and you get what you pay for. Just know that going into it and you won’t be disappointed. That said, I knew all this going in, so I can’t say I’m surprised. Happy New Year!

QC lacking a bit
Several dings and marks all over the jamb and door. The stop was nowhere near even on the top and had to be adjusted quite a bit. Latch plate and strike plate cutouts were rough and had to be cleaned up with a chisel.

Finished was chipped/scuffed around the handle
The finish was chipped all around the door handle cutout/opening.

Trim around the door was damaged and loose when it was delivered. The framing is also kinda loose which made installing a little harder.

I have purchased several sizes of this 6 panel textured hollow core doors and the satisfaction certainly is not there! I have picked through every time thinking i had selected one of the best at the time only to find (after uncovering) the following: 0 - 3/16” reveal on trim from top to bottom on EVERY door! Cracked trim Trim 45’s with over 1/16” gap when installed Door hinge screws missing Door hinge screws started but not tightened Door jam cut too short Door close strips cut too short leaving...

Coating peeling away
First of all, I had to search through quite a few doors before choosing the one I got. It almost seemed like we were in a discount outlet store where you had to search to get a decent door. We even asked the sales associate about why these were so bad. His response was, "This is just the way they all come to us." Good grief. The biggest problem was that the coating was peeling away from the door, especially where the door knob would go.
