Outstanding containers for gardening!
We use these 27-gallon Commander totes for container gardening, and they have been outstanding. We drill twelve 1/2” drainage holes in the bottom of each tote, and after that they work perfectly as large planting containers. The size and depth are excellent for root growth, and the price makes them a great option compared to many large planters. They drain well, hold plenty of soil, and stay stable once filled. When we got it off the porch the handle is broken!! I believe that the driver would have pulled it to the porch from the driveway BY THE HANDLE and didn't notice it was BROKEN!!! Now I have to take it back to the store and get another one. The WHOLE reason for having it delivered was because we are short on time!!!
