I used this unconventionally as a decoration. If I were using this for a shade, I would say that this would work well to update an old hanging pendant style fixture. Unique Lamp Shade for a Modern Look
I recieved my new lamp shade today if thats what you can call it. It is very unique and works well in a modern home. It is sturdy, durable and well built. I also like how it resembles a diamond and could make a great wedding or bridal shower gift. The downside I have with this is that you must have a nice looking light bulb as this unit shows the good or bad.

Affordable and Adaptable
I bought this because it achieved the more modern look I was going for. I was building a more rustic modern room and installed this above the reading nook in the room. It looks great. I also painted it copper which really made it pop. all in all great product.
