I purchased this Pitt Boss pellet smoker, 14 Aug 26, it was a last minute buy because the in the box that was advertised turned out to be not available, so I took the floor model. After four smokes. Packed it away for the winter. When I tried to set up for th spring the timer unit didn’t work. Called Pitt Boss they rec I repair it myself. No other help. They did send me the instructions on how to removed the timer. Oh well, im still under warranty and no help.

I received the delivery from Lowe’s and when it was received the front glass had been shattered and cleaned out. Then upon returning the item at the store after they told me they have none in stock when I asked if I could just pick it up from another store they informed me that I would have to reload up the broken item and take it to that store for an exchange, I get it but the customer service was horrible. Self Immolated
It's set fire to itself multiple times now, nearly set fire to my backyard, stay far away. My friend has the same model and it did the same for him as well. I called support and they just want to offer me parts to repair, but there's no way I'm letting this system start back up again after it's track record.

Defective out of box
Purchased July 4, returned July 4. Unit didn’t have a hopper door installed- should have been done at factory. Customer service suggested I try to rig something up myself to keep pellets from just falling on the ground. Yeah- no thanks. Would give zero stars if possible. Need to check other brands.

Right out of the box broken. Called customer service and they treated me as if im stupid and don't know how to start a grill. Video call to analyze the problem, to sell me a new ash catcher. I said thats not the problem it has set on fire( fire hazard). Her and another agent said" I stand by my diagnosis " Garbage product.
