Pfister Karci Polished Chrome Widespread Faucet and Hardware

I like the overall look of this faucet—it has a nice design—but the spout sits too far back, which can be inconvenient depending on your sink layout. Installation was about what I expected; like most faucets, it's not exactly easy unless you're working with a vanity top before it's attached to the base. After over three years of use, the handles still feel stiff to operate, which is a bit disappointing. It’s held up over time, but the usability could definitely be better.

Disappointing Experience with Knobs

Looks nice, awkward install, drain width issue

Project: Replace worn 30-year-old faucets & drains. Faucet: First time installing a three-hole faucet. I liked the attractive look and no-putty installation. But it was difficult to tighten the nuts below the faucets while keeping the guide arrows on the bottom of the faucet facing directly toward the sink. I got this faucet to replace that regular bathroom faucet with the clear plastic handle that every house had in the 90s. Look nice - for about 1 year

After installing 3 of these Karci Spot Defense faucets, they have all corroded. Besides not looking attractive anymore, they also fail to function properly. Due to corrosion, the water now shoots out further, beyond the edge of the sink and directly on to the users lap! Pfister's warranty department refuses to give us a different style of faucet and only sent us the exact same faucet for replacement (which means we would have to deal with this all again in another year). Beautiful Design but quality issues

After 5 years of use the handels have completely seized making normal operations of the sink extremely difficult. We love the design of this faucet but it's very hard to find parts. The sink stopper also tends to get jammed in the closed position.

Don't buy

This faucet is beautiful. Unfortunately the design is terrible. The faucet doesn't come far enough out so any time you wash your hands water gets up onto the back of the vanity top. I have a 3 year old who at any other sink can wash his hands but at this one can barely reach the water and needs to be helped everytime he washes his hands. Not to mention the gunk that is going to start forming at the back of the sink and around the faucet because who has time to wipe up water every time they wash ...

Quality Made Faucet

We have never owned a Karci (Pfister) brand faucet before, but are impressed with the quality. This is a very modern look. The handles move smoothly and you can easily remove the aerator for cleaning, if necessary. I tried this before installation. My husband said the instructions were very easy to follow and had all the tools required except an adjustable wrench. Disappointing replacement

This faucet was sent to us as a replacement under warranty. Our original faucet was much nicer and of higher quality, plus the main spout went much further over the sink. Now all the water splashes back (when washing hands) into and behind the handles and not into the sink bowl. Although, we were grateful for a replacement under warranty, this faucet pales in comparison to our original higher grade faucet.
