Pfister Karci Matte Black Centerset Faucet and Hardware

I like the overall look of this faucet—it has a nice design—but the spout sits too far back, which can be inconvenient depending on your sink layout. Installation was about what I expected; like most faucets, it's not exactly easy unless you're working with a vanity top before it's attached to the base. After over three years of use, the handles still feel stiff to operate, which is a bit disappointing. It’s held up over time, but the usability could definitely be better.

Look nice - for about 1 year

After installing 3 of these Karci Spot Defense faucets, they have all corroded. Besides not looking attractive anymore, they also fail to function properly. Due to corrosion, the water now shoots out further, beyond the edge of the sink and directly on to the users lap! Pfister's warranty department refuses to give us a different style of faucet and only sent us the exact same faucet for replacement (which means we would have to deal with this all again in another year). Don't buy

This faucet is beautiful. Unfortunately the design is terrible. The faucet doesn't come far enough out so any time you wash your hands water gets up onto the back of the vanity top. I have a 3 year old who at any other sink can wash his hands but at this one can barely reach the water and needs to be helped everytime he washes his hands. Quality Made Faucet

We have never owned a Karci (Pfister) brand faucet before, but are impressed with the quality. This is a very modern look. The handles move smoothly and you can easily remove the aerator for cleaning, if necessary. I tried this before installation. My husband said the instructions were very easy to follow and had all the tools required except an adjustable wrench. Very nice

This is a very handsome faucet, with clean, modern lines. The lever operates very smoothly, with minimal effort. Unfortunately, the first one I purchased, which was sealed from the factory, had a scratch. As usual, Lowe's was fantastic and exchanged it. The faucet was very easy to install. The gasket worked fine on my solid surface vanity top, but wasn't thick enough to seal against the irregular vitreous china sink in my other bathroom. Plumbers putty was an easy fix. Pros: Quality product. Once installed it really feels solid and looks nice. There weren't any loose parts or movement. Haven't had it long enough to really be able to declare that it is "spot resistance" but so far I haven't noticed any, but truthfully that has never been an issue that concerned me. I am not one to write reviews but feel compelled if nothing more than to save someone an extra trip back to return their faucet.
