This was a default buy. The product itself was fine. My disappointment is with Lowe’s Customer Support. I found in my Lowe’s App the Build and Grow Bird Feeder and Bird house kits. I couldn’t get the App to let me complete a pickup order. When I called Lowe’s for help I had to negotiate the very frustrating automated recording. Decide to try penningtons instead of scotts which id used before with good results…never again. I gave 2 stars because #1 it did germinate in the time given on the bag #2 “ SOMETHING “ grew. Can not recommend this product. Purchased to repair heat damaged area in yard. There is no evidence of germination, however native grasses doing great so not a water issue or ground issue.

Bermuda Grass, but Not in Bermuda

No Germination
Been gardening for decades and followed the directions for prep, seeding, and watering. Retired so was always aware of water needs. In 3+ weeks there is ZERO germination. I wanted to chat with Lowes agent but at 183rd in the queue that is no longer a viable option.... poor on Lowes customer service 😢 This was an overseed and spot seeding. I put lawn soil down first. ZERO Germination
Almost 4 weeks and ZERO germination. I am retired and have decades of gardening experience. I followed the instructions. I put down Tuft Builder lawn soil first to better rake in the seed. Water it in for a couple of days, then seeded. Watered at least twice a day. This was about a 400 sf area of overseeding and some bare spots. Very disappointed with this product!

Great for 3 Weeks then Turns Brown!
We were excited about this grass. It said it would start to grow in about 3 weeks after seeding it did. Great. Then for 3 weeks it was green and held promise. Then it started to turn brown. It was expensive, much more than the current price. Does Lowe's know about the lack of quality at this point?
