Factory errors and scratches
Of course just as the delivery guys pull away and I unwrap the patio door I see two nice scratches a little bigger than a pea where the white fiberglass is now showing digging out the black powder coat. I decide instead of hauling this back to Lowes I will just try to touch them up with black paint. The more I look at it i also then see some bubbling under the black finish where it is pushed up into noticeable lumps. Then once the door is installed I notice that the holes on the panel retainer d...

Door good, Service terrible
After having the door for a year I can’t complain about the quality of it. It is a solid door that slides easily and is well insulated. The Lowe's service that I received is down right terrible though. First they could not get me the correct handle that it supposedly comes with. After six trips to the store to pickup the incorrect handle (sometimes it was the same type of incorrect handle as previously ordered) I purchased the handle from my local Pella distributor for about two hundred and fift...

does not come with handle or screen
Nowhere in the purchase of the product are you warned that the door requires an aftermarket Pella handle (other brands are incompatible.) They also don't mention that it does not come with a screen door and is incompatible with universal sliding screens. The door requires after market installation of a screen door track and much modification to achieve normal function of a standard sliding door with screen.

Best slider available
I did a ton of research on sliding patio doors and this checked all the boxes for warranty, performance, features. This also has one of the lowest thresholds I could find. Some doors have great weather ratings but they're hard to move and others move easy but have poor weather performance. This door is amazing in both. Not sure how they do it.

NO HANDLES
THESE DOORS ARE FINE, BUT DO NOT COME WITH HANDLES. YOU WILL HAVE TO SPEND OVER $100 TO BUY THE HANDLES SEPARATELY AND THERE IS A LONG WAIT. PELLA & LOWES CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS NOT BEEN VERY HELPFUL WITH THE MATTER.

You will need to order the door handles separately
Very sturdy door! Black on both sides. I was a little disappointed the handles didn't come with the door.
