Total game changer!
I had been in the market for cordless nail guns for quite some time. I own a horse farm and do most of the building and maintenance myself, and it is quite a pain to have to lug a gas compressor around the property....and a compressor is yet another piece of equipment to maintain(fuel, oil, etc). I had been focusing on 100% battery powered that would match up with my preferred cordless tools, when the opportunity presented itself to receive the Paslode Cordless brad and framing nailers. After...
Great alternative to battery nailer
Over the years I used different trim nailers. My first one was cordless with battery. Years ago, cordless nailers were so bulky and so underpowered that driving even brad nails was a problem. They’re much improved now. Then I used pneumatic trim nailer which was really small and light, but drove nails inconsistently. Plus, I had to run a hose from compressor whether job is big or small. Finally, a need to run that hose every time I need to drive a couple of nails brought me back to need for a co...
A good cordless nailer
I have had a Paslode framing nailer for over 20 years and it has been a reliable and useful tool. The new Paslode cordless 18-gage brad nailer appears to be built to the same standards as my Paslode framing nailer. I did have some trouble over the years with the battery contacts on my framer. The new brad nailer seems to have a more robust battery contact setup, so hopefully it will work better over time. It drives up to 2" brads easily in pine and oak and countersinks them nicely. I am som...
Light and versatile
This brad nailer has a small lithium battery that makes the overall tool small and light. The battery only needs to provide a spark for the fuel cell, the combustion of which drives the nail. This makes the battery last a long time and drives the nail to consistent depth. The fuel cell is easy to install - you don't need the orange pieces that come in the box. The nails are easy to install, too. I used inexpensive nails and they worked fine. I used the gun to attach 2X4's to attic studs to facil...
Provides Cordless Convenience with Trade-offs
I was excited when Lowe's Loop offered to send me two cordless brad and nail guns to try out. I have been working on the baseboards and other projects in my house for over a year, and I figured it would be nice to compare these with my corded air-compressor equivalent tools. Also, Lowe's doesn't provide a voucher or gift card to buy the nails and fuel cartridges required to try out these products. Functionally they work very well. I didn't experience nail jams or other issues when I used them. ...

Great Brad nailer
First of all I really wanted to use this but our local Lowes only had expired cartridges! See picture! This Paslode Brad nailer is very light and easy to use. Light enough for most women to use! More convenient than pneumatic no hoses to drag around! Plan on using as soon as Lowes get new cartridges in after the first of the tear. I am sure it will perform nicely as I have used similar ones before.
Great time saver.
This finish nailer is perfect. No need to set up compressor and deal with cumbersome hose. Long battery life as fuel can provides power to drive the nails. Only issue with this nailer is the number of nails that can be loaded at one time. May be more of an issue for a contractor but for the ease of use during set up it’s a good trade off for a dyi’er.
Nice cordless nailer
This is my first cordless nailer. It's nice not to have to listen to the compressor or wait to get to full pressure. This nailer is ergonomic and operates very smooth. The battery has an "off" position to improve battery life. It comes in a great case and includes safety goggles and a charger. You do have to buy pressure cannisters separately. All in all, I am very pleased with this nailer.
Don't waste your money!!
I own the paslode frame nailer which is fantastic. This finish nailer I purchased expecting similar results. NOPE, doesn't shoot nails 3/4 the time and regardless how many times you try all you do is waste your propellant fuel and battery. I tried changing my paslode finish nail sizes and still nothing. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
Paslode 18 gauge cordless brad nailer
I have used a number cordless and pneumatic nailers, Paslode and other brands. This nailer utilizes a 7.5-volt re-chargeable battery and a gas cartridge. This Paslode Nailer is light weight and very comfortable to handle and use. The brad nail depth adjustment is convenient and easy to use. It also uses standardized brad nails.

Hello I am sorry that you had this experience. We recommend that you use Paslode Brand Finish Nails for the best performance. If you are using Paslod...
