This is a Paslode 30° Framing Nailer that operates on a 7V battery and a Paslode Fuel Cell. It can use Paslode Framing nails from 2” to 3-1/4”. Top notch
I was considering a name brand battery powered version because they don't require fuel. My local store has the guns on a display where you can handle them. The battery ones were larger, bulkier, heavier but cheaper. Then Paslode put their framing and finish nailer at almost half price for black Friday!! Done deal. These are so much friendlier to use, even if they require fuel.

No hose or air compressor
This framing gun does the job just as good as a pneumatic air gun minus lugging an air compressor and hose. The framing gun came with a hard case, battery, charger and safety glasses. You will need to purchase a fuel cell cartridge and a nails that is preferred for your project. Make sure you charge the battery for 1.5hrs and make sure the fuel cell is not outdated. Much better than dragging an air hose
I got this to help floor my attic. Previously I was using a different framing nailer but got tired of dragging the air compressor and hose around while standing on the ceiling joists. Other than having to buy new nails the transition has been easy. They both weigh about the same, but without the air hose attached, the Paslode is much easier to position. The Paslode XPro framing nailer is more than capable! I got this to help with a remodel and couldn’t be happier. I am able to effortlessly drive nails even in tight spaces. Very ergonomic and powerful framing gun
I have always wanted a paslode cordless framing gun. This thing works great! It uses the same nails as my other framing gun uses but does not have compressed air. For me that's kind of a catch 22, I like that back that the paslode can fire back to back nails quickly with full power every time but, I also like my other framing gun that uses battery power only so I don't have to cough up the $14 or whatever it is for compressed air cartridge.
