Nice alternative to an air nailer

I used this paslode nailer to trim out a scuttle hole for attic access. It worked great but I did notice a butane smell due to the enclosed space. Next I trimmed out my underdeck with PT 1x6" boards. The paslode was great for that as I was working on a rolling scaffold and didn't have to drag an air hose around. The nailer comes with a carry case, battery and charger as well as safety glasses. I was considering a name brand battery powered version because they don't require fuel. My local store has the guns on a display where you can handle them. The battery ones were larger, bulkier, heavier but cheaper. Then Paslode put their framing and finish nailer at almost half price for black Friday!! Done deal. These are so much friendlier to use, even if they require fuel.

Convenient and good enough quality

I have another nailer that requires an air compressor, so this cordless nailer is much more convenient. No need to drag out the compressor and hoses. Just load and go! Although each time you fire off a nail, the nailer is a little louder than the corded nailer, it is still much quieter than running an air compressor.
