What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this butcher paper for exceptional smoking and wrapping performance. Most highlight its superior ability to lock in juices and maintain ideal moisture levels, resulting in tender, flavorful meats with perfect bark texture—significantly better than foil. Many confirm consistent success wrapping brisket, pork butt, and ribs, crediting the thick, durable construction for professional-quality results. Several report switching permanently from foil and repurchasing repeatedly. A few mention minor usability challenges, though these barely impact the strong overall satisfaction and widespread recommendation.

This 18" wide butcher paper does exactly what it should during use, but the packaging is terrible. The label is adhered directly to the paper itself l, not the plastic wrapping it, and the adhesive used makes it almost impossible to get off cleanly.
It's at Lowe's
I didn't have to try to find it on the interwebs. I just went to Lowe's. I'm sure I paid mor for it since it's Pit Boss's brand, but convenience counts for something.

Peach Butcher Paper 12” width
This width of wrapping paper will work the best for me, as OJ aluminum tray liners — making for a Fun Presentation —by the way -the aluminum trays have a nice weight to them & hold 1/2 pan aluminum pans perfectly!

No cardboard tube
Paper works nice but did not include the cardboard tube pictured in the description. I’m a bit disappointed Lowe’s does not carry this in the cardboard tube that is in the thumbnail. Instead it is wrapped in plastic. The 18” width is better than the 12” option. I use this to wrap briskets on my traeger and it works great and leaves a beautiful bark. 4 out 5 because it does not come in the cardboard tube pictured on the Lowe’s site.
$25 roll of paper
Price gouging. I get that people buy this rarely and don’t want to risk messing up an expensive brisket, but come on. It’s paper. Complimentary sizes of parchment or foil cost nothing close to this.
Works but narrower than usual
I’m accustomed to butcher paper coming in 22 inch width. I was really happy to pick this up at Lowe’s, I needed it and that was convenient. However, I was really surprised when I noticed at home that this paper is only 18 inches wide. I had to double over when wrapping a 17lb brisket and I’d prefer not to do that as it makes the final wrap thicker than I want. Otherwise, it worksjustvas you’d expect.
Makes awesome brisket and pulled pork!
I've been using this for a little while now and have had great results on brisket and pulled pork. I did a smoked chuck roast last weekend and that came out great as well. The paper seems to help keep the meat moist, but it also absorbs some moisture so the bark stays in good shape and the meat doesn't get soggy. When my current roll runs out, I'll definitely be grabbing another.
Brisket Wrap
Smoking brisket for the first time. Needed unlined butcher paper for the last part of the smoke. Cannot find in local stores. This paper is as advertised and has a durable thickness and wrapped the brisket well. No problem putting back on the smoker for a few more hours. The paper became well soaked with fat and never tore. Did a good job.

Lots of uses for this paper
Great for wrapping meats and keeping it moist. I am finding other ways to use it outside the smoker grill. On the regular gas grill I am using it for roasted veggies and helping in dehydrating fruits. Really good stuff.
