Extremely pleased
Looks great, the assembly wasn't difficult but took some time. The ignition on the burners is fantastic and is so much easier than my old BBQ and it heats up very fast. I'm very pleased so far and if it lasts 10 years like my old BBQ, I'll be happy. Also bought the rotisserie but haven't tried it yet.

Do not cross the threshold of Lowe's doors.
There is no problem with the product. The problem is with Lowe's. The delivery date was moved from three days out to three weeks out when I made the selection to have the grill assembled. There is no excuse for a company which offers assembly as a service to require three weeks to put together a grill that I could (and have) assembled in three hours. Still, I chose to wait patiently. A great looking bbq that is easy to operate.
I bought this bbq at Home Hardware and they assembled it and delivered it so I can’t speak to the building of the Freestyle 425 out of the box. As a new bbq it takes some learning to use it to its maximum and after a couple of experiments I think I have figured out the difference between it and my bbq. First “Real” Grill I’ve purchased
This is the real deal. It’s built with a better design than any other grill I have owned. I’ve only purchased grills sub 250.00 before this one and thought getting a new grill every 3 years was normal. I can see that the quality of this one should stand the test of time. Very happy with the size, the even cooking, easy lighting and how easy it cleans in between grilling. Not as easy as stainless but that’s ok! It’s a great size and takes up less space than our 16 year old napoleon premier! I’m very happy and would recommend this model.

Flimsy build quality, overpriced
I have to say it is very flimsy and overpriced for what it is. It arrived scratched on the hood and other pieces bent. I literally had to bend pieces of metal to get this thing put together right, and even then, the little door is so warped it won't attach to the magnet and stay shut. The door will just pop open while grilling. I contacted Lowe's before assembling and the best they could do is a return or 10% discount. Good BBQ but Already RUSTING
It's a nice bbq. Cooks evenly but after only 3 uses I cleaned it and noticed some parts already starting to rust. I've only had this BBQ for just over a month. I keep it covered when not in use so this is a little disappointing. I haven't called Napoleon about their warranty yet but I have heard it can be a bit arduous to get anything replaced by their supposed 10 yr warranty. We will see.
