Smooth ride
Went in like a charm (2) installations. After reading all the reviews, I was a bit apprehensive. Used a paid Electrician to do the install. I will list the issues stated by others and how my experience was regarding these: a) Receiver module has no space: This is not true. Nice fans
Have put four of these fans in out house now. Bought first one as it was the best fan for matching the wife's color scheme and decor. Since it was in our bedroom, I became aware of how it worked quick. Led me to buy the other three. They look good, move air well, and are quiet. Had an issue with remote receiver in one, company's customer service folks were great and sent me a replacement quickly.

Perfect for a Large Room
Huge, simple (in an elegant way, not in a cheap way), and puts out a lot of wind. Love the Fan- Remote is terrible
Fan functions as its supposed to, when remote is working. Problem is the remote is fickle. It stopped working so we thought maybe the battery died. Bought more batteries and before we could replace it worked again. Then stopped. Very frustrating to not be able to turn your light on.
Goes on and off
The fan itself is decent, though my previous Minka had an easier to use remote, and the Lowes tech did a good job with the install, but it goes on and off during the day. At first I thought it was a ghost, but then heard that it could be that someone else has a Minka fan and the remote can travel thru walls to another house. I never had this problem with an older Minka that got burned out, but the new one might have this issue.

Well made and installed easy enough. If your room is wired for fan / light on separate switches you may want to pick a non remote one. It is kind of a pain to make sure the light is on and fan is off when you go to the wal switch. You walk into a room and turn you light switch on and if you don't leave the light on the remote the light will not come on until you use the remote. Hard to find the remote in a dark room. Nice Addition
This fan fits perfect in my living room. It is very attractive and goes great with the grayish brown flooring and light gray walls. The fan blades look a bit like driftwood. The light is much brighter than you would think by the size of it. It also comes with a remote control!

Be prepared for it to randomly turn on.
Loved the look and how quite it is. Installed on 9/9/24. Approximately 6 days after installation it began turning on randomly. This occurred 2 times, hours apart over two days. I used the remote to turn fan off all four times. It has not since randomly turned on again.
