Love this Ultra Quiet Microwave
This microwave looks great, is very sturdy, quality feel. It's whisper quiet which I love. It cooks food evenly without overheating the plate - that's a first for me! I'd have given 5 stars if the vent fan was a bit more powerful. It does the job but if you forget to turn it on before it's necessary it takes quite a while to catch up. Really that's a me issue and I cant fault the microwave for not compensating for my poor planning.

Heats well but that's about it
Used this for over a year, had to give it some time for an honest review. The chimes are too quiet even on high, good if you are standing near it. The build feels cheap including opening and closing the door, louder than the chimes. The two bolts that hold this up connect to two clips, which are not properly secured. If they come off it's very difficult to mount this. And finally, the exhaust fan is extremely loud, both in high and low. It was a good price but not a good choice.

Not super happy
I got this particular microwave because it was on sale. I also read so many great reviews on here. I haven't used it a lot yet but it seems to work fine. However, my biggest gripe is the volume. I've got the volume set on high and unless I'm standing right next to the microwave, I can't hear the timer when it goes off. (I've got no problem with my hearing) Lot of good that does. Over the years we have had several over the range microwaves and no matter what the price point or brand the lifespan is never that long. Very good mid-priced microwave
We bought this microwave only after buying another one that turned out to be too tall to install over the counter. Returning it to Lowes wasn't the easiest, but they finally took it. Midea is Top of the list!
All of Midea's products are excellent. So choosing a microwave brand was not even a question. I currently have a side-by-side refrigerator, a dishwasher, and now a microwave all by this manufacturer. All of their appliances are super quiet and efficient. I would recommend them hands down over any other brand.

Broken Clips
This unit is very cheaply made. The way you have to secure it over the range is by using 2 bolts. The problem with it is the fastener is just a tiny little clip inside of the sheet metal, if those clips fall out which is super easy, then it falls inside of the unit. Love this microwave! It fits nicely over my stove and in the cabinet opening. It’s large inside and exterior is sleek looking. Installation was straight forward and only took a little over an hour.
