I got this fridge on sale. I love the smooth profile of no external handles. Inside there is plenty of room, and the glass shelves means that everything can be visible all the way down. I was really looking for a 16 cf unit, but had to choose between the 14 or 18 models, so I went with the 18 cf model. I recently bought this fridge, and it was not quite cooling probably. I called Midea customer support and was told that, despite the fridge being inside a house that's kept at a constant temperature, the fact that OUTSIDE was cold was somehow supposed to be affecting the INSIDE fridge and that they would not dispatch a tech until it was warmer. Never Ever Ever Buy a Refrigerator from Lowe's

Would Not Recommend

If your refrigerator needs repair or replacement, it is the manufacturer's decision whether to repair or replace your appliance. Often times they prefer to replace the appliance rather than repair it. In my case Midea decided to replace the fridge and sent me a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) which I needed to forward to Lowe's. This garage ready refrigerator kept tripping the GFI outlet in our garage in less than 30 minutes. Building code in my state requires GFI outlets in the garage. Lowe's advised no returns after 48 hrs.!! Midea said there is nothing they can do despite the refrigerator being garage ready and not being able to plug it into the garage.
