Metabo HPT 2-1/2-in 16 -Gauge Pneumatic Straight Finish Nailer

The 16-Gauge Finish Nailer (NT65M2S) features a non-slip elastomer grip trigger and ergonomically designed simple flip actuation switch. It is ideal for installing molding, chair rail, cabinetry and other fine finish applications. The NT65M2S accepts 16-gauge finish nails in lengths ranging from 1" Up to 2-1/2" and is equipped with Metabo HPT's signature air duster button to conveniently blow away dust and debris instantly to clear the work surface.

DEPTH ADJUSTMENT: Tool-free depth of drive adjustment helps to provide a professional finish when fastening into varying materials
APPLICATIONS: Ideal for installing molding, chair rail, cabinetry and other fine finish applications
EXHAUST PORT: 360 degree, fully adjustable exhaust port directs air exhaust away from the user during use
AIR DUSTER: Duster button to conveniently blow away dust and debris instantly to clear the work surface

Metabo always impressed me with their affordable air nailers. I have 3 different nailers from them and will continue to grow my collection. I've driven 5,000 finish nails so far without a single jam or miss feed. I oil the tool before each use.

I've run over 10,000 nails through this nailer hanging tongue and groove paneling without a single jam. Metabo is my go to brand for air nailers. Their price to quality can't be beat.

Used it a few times. It works great. Hoping it will last. The cushion head is a little large, but it is removable.

These Metabo pneumatic tools are considered high quality, and I am building my air tool kit. So was very happy to see one on a steeply discounted price (around 50% off) as a one-day sale item at Lowes. The delivery was prompt. I strongly recommend getting on the email list for Lowes' One-Day-Only sales. Sometimes the items continue at the sale price, but often they rise in price after the one day sale. They also sometimes return to a sale price that is a bit higher.

I borrowed my sisters 18 gauge and loved it but i wanted to use 2.5" brads and when it went on sale i grabbed it. We love our Metabo's in this family. if they wear out we are buying another Metabo that is a fact!
