Metabo HPT MultiVolt 36-Volt 7-1/4-in Brushless Circular Saw with MultiVolt 36-Volt 10-In Carbide-Tipped Blade Portable Cordless Table Saw

Solid Metabo Quality

After using the Metabo HPT 36V MultiVolt Cordless Circular Saw extensively for various construction projects, I can confidently say that this tool strikes a fantastic balance between performance and versatility, although there are a few features that could use some improvement. One of the most impressive aspects of this saw is its power. With the ability to run either on a 36V MultiVolt battery or plugged directly into an outlet with the MultiVolt AC adapter, this saw offers unmatched flexibili...

Lot of bang for the buck! Compact powerful tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a framing carpenter of almost 10 years now. I work outside in the elements, hot, cold, wet, dry, you name it! I got this saw about 3 weeks ago now, I am typically a worm drive guy but was interested in trying something cordless and different than what I'm used to as well. I have to say I'm quite impressed actually. It has been extremely cold these last few weeks and my battery seemed to deliver consistent power regardless, and charged up w...

Nice saw - but only when cutting on the ground

I have owned and have used many great Hitachi corded and cordless power tools over the years. Did lots of review reading and thought this would be a great saw for remodeling and general use. PROS: + Lowes - great to work with + Fantastic value when purchased on sale ($179 with 8ah MV, 5ahr MV, and fast charger Dec 2020). + Build quality appears to be top notch. Great shoe that is ground flat on the base and side. + Bare tool is very lightweight for a powerful 7.25" saw. + Really good power - ...

Powerful top handle saw with just one hiccup!

C3607DA. One of my oldest Metabo HPT tools purchased. Plenty of power. Features a light, 55° stop, silent mode so not to wake up the neighbors, blade brake, lightweight body. My ONLY hiccup (mindful it is the older model) is that I wish it had a rafter hook. More like 4-1/2 stars.

As Powerful as a Corded Saw

I was especially convinced to choose this 7 1/4" circular saw as reviews mentioned how light weight it is and I have so many blades the same size from my 25 year old corded Skillsaw (which still works) to help me compensate the arthritis in my hands. Compared to my old saw the Metabo isn’t as light as I had imagined. Perhaps battery circular saws are usually heavier? But it is an impressive machine. The included manual is unexpectedly easy to read, straightforward and uncluttered. I underest...

Saw that gives up nothing for being cordless

This is a full sized battery powered saw that feels every bit as powerful as a corded saw. I haven't counted, but have yet to wear out the battery during a normal construction session cutting through 2x material. Several gripes that I hadn't anticipated when I bought this saw: 1) As a righty, the blade is on the wrong side of the handle when I cut making it harder to follow a line 2) I am slightly annoyed by the need for a 36v battery - thats probably the source of the cutting power, but they're...

Beyond my Expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After being completely impressed with the triple hammer IP56 Impact, I wanted to look at more Metabo tools. My 18v platform from another manufacturer was showing its age and I prefer to stick with one battery platform. The saw is not quite as heavy as I anticipated, but it is just as powerful as a corded saw. I'm really pleased with the 7 1/4 sized blades and not having to purchase different sized blades for different saws (e.g. - oddball sizes...

Very nice saw, highly recommended

I wasn't planning on buying a Metabo HPT tool as they are not present in my nearby stores. This one was offered to me as a redemption of my earned loyalty points. And I don't regret it at all. I am not a contractor, just a weekend DIYer. It has ample power for me and I have never, so far, run out of juice. The feature of running the saw on lower speed makes it much quieter. The speed of cutting is sufficient and a perfect trade off. I was worried about line of sight as it was a problem with my c...

Incredible saw

This blew the doors off my coworker's saws! The power, the ease of use etc it's juts awesome! Hands down this beat all the other tools on our site.

Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used it extensively while building a wood shed. Cut through 2X8 pressure treated lumber like a knife through butter
