Obsolete! No Parts Available- But A Sturdy Tool

The Metabo-HPT Oscillating tool that I received was missing the Tool Shaft (the part that looks like a bolt which holds the blade in place). After writing Metabo-HPT 4 times in 4 weeks asking for the part, with not even the courtesy of a reply, I called Metabo-HPT & was told that no parts are available for the tool & that it is "obsolete". Works great but scared of losing the lock pin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No issues with the performance. It's powerful, comfortable to hold, and has decent battery life. The only complaint was the way you have to change blades. Pull and twist this, flip that, remove this, etc... In particular the small locking pin has to be removed in one step and then put back in another, so I'm afraid of dropping and losing it.

Works great, cuts like butter!

I bought this to cut into Sheetrock or plywood for outlets. It’s been used on houses, chicken coops, I use it to break cardboard boxes down too! It cuts through everything like butter and is lightweight and comfortable to use for extended periods. Batteries seem to last a long time with it too, don’t hesitate to buy one, it has a hundred uses!

Love my multi tool!!

I bought mine in January, after being gifted a metabo impact by my boss in November. I since have purchased the rear handled circular saw, drill, 18 gauge cordless nailer and the oscillating tool. Low Vibration

This is a great tool. The vibration factor is very low. The vibration damper technology works very well. I love the tool-less blade change. Very fast and easy to change blades.

Metabo Oscillating Multi-tool is fantastic!

I had a couple jobs to do where I could use an Oscillating multi-tool. My old one was a Chicago Electric corded model from Harbor Freight. This one from Metabo is in another league from the Chicago Electric model. First is it is super quiet by comparison. My old one required ear plugs and was annoying to anyone else in the house.
